Lack of funding for our National Parks?

We've all seen the threats to cut fire fighters and police if a tax raise isn't voted in. They just want to make us feel the pain, instead of cutting unnecessary or redundant programs.

We need to take back control from politicians. Only elect those that promise to take away congresses perks, raises, etc...

Promise? Many promise a smaller, trimmer, more fiscally responsible government. We need to elect those who will follow through with their promises.

Career politician? The term goes against the intent of our Constitution. It is that long-time spent in Washington that lends itself to corruption and waste.

We need to stop re-electing the same people over and over. Term limits should keep lawmakers focused on their primary task of up-holding the Constitution and following its dictates.

@XtreemLee - When I was employed by Uncle Sam in the military we had a very similar saying.

"If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Unless you're the government, then you fiddle with it until it's broken."
