Lawn Problem

Would anyone know what this is?

It's bright yellow and growing in size on my lawn. What is recommended to eradicate this problem. I'm getting more and more weeds like this in my lawn this past year.

I'm curious too, but I can't tell from the pic, is it a weed, a moss or a fungus??

It's not a moss or fungus but looks very similar to a ground creeping ivy.

If it is then a broadleaf weed killer for lawns would help.

That does help...if you know it is a broadleaf weed, then you can just get the stuff to kill it, like Northernrose said. It won't kill the grass, just the weed.

the one i have and tend to see sold all around here is usually a gold variety and i think that is what you have Stano. does yours get a lot of sun where it is located?
