A favorite is Yellow Jelly Bean. DW prefers Sun Sugar because they have less problems with splitting here than Sun Gold. DD asked me why I didn't start one for her, then she carried off a large slicer ... 🍅

Her first garden ever, mid-30's. I had a garden of my own when I was half her age! 🙄 😉

i love tomatoes and would like to experience a lot more but we don't have that much extra space and Mom (who owns the place and has very limited ideas about tomatoes) does not like anything other than beefsteak varieties. luckily we've found one that survives our microclimate, soils and diseases long enough to give us a reliable harvest of 20 - 60+ lbs per plant. we eat some of them fresh, but a large portion of what we harvest is canned for use for the next years...
