Lights in the snow

I was visiting my SIL last weekend and they had four days of snow dump while I was there. I took some pics and am posting them on my blog the next two Mondays.

Here are some of my favorite Christmas lights in the snow pics.

Last years snow wasn't too bad....this year and 2009 was the "PITS"!!!! Here is a photo of my back door to my deck....that's snow on the other side.... and one of my fat, lazy cats absorbing the heat from the VCR....spoiled thing....:/

Forgot to mention...that by the end of the day....the whole window door was covered to the top...

How did you get out of your house that day?

That was the back side of the house...I live on kind of a cliff....that's the cliff side.... the front of the house has a Porte-cochere...porch kinda thing that kept the snow away from the front door.....it was -10 here last night
