I could be wrong, but those actually look like reading glasses to me. She also looks a bit shy, hence the slouching? Hmm.

My mother wore a babushka everywhere we went so the wind would not mess up her hair. She even had me wear one as a child. I always thought it was to look like movie stars but obviously...not!

RE the model...of course her skin is perfect, 12 year olds usually haven't developed acne yet.
Does anybody else think that's a really unattractive background for a catalog shoot? They could have hired a gardener to at least edge the lawn, and try to tidy up those awful shrubs. Just sayin'.
