I bought a big bag of limes for $2.00 the other day. it was such a great price I couldn't resist. the guy helping load the groceries asked what I was going to do with so many limes. I told him I had no idea, but I couldn't pass up the deal. so today I juiced them all & got four cups of lime juice. with half I made a granite. you make a simple syrup, add the lime juice, freeze in a shallow pan scrapping it with a fork every thirty minutes or so. it was great! tart, tangy, cold with the slightest touch of sweet. perfect on a hot summer evening.
