Little Orphan "Annie and Stripe"

I figured I should stop interrupting @Nyboy's post and create a thread of my own, lol. So here's little Annie and Stripe. they went for their first swim today! We still have no idea why Stripe's coloring is so different, but he's started growing feathers! YAY! Today, they went for their first swim.. They have stolen our hearts, that's for sure..

Ricky (my husband) and I built them a little portable pen today. To keep them safe from the neighbor's cats. Of course they thought they had to help..

They follow me everwhere, they think I am "mommy"..

After their swim! Haha; So cute! They loved it! Stripe kept diving down under the water, which scared me to death!

They look like ducks, with the name stripe I thought you were talking about a watermelon!!!!

they're cute!

the last 2 weeks by my work i've been seeing a family of Canadian geese with 4 young ones in tow. they have been hanging around a small pond that a lot of cars travel by on a daily basis so i'm surprised they have stayed there so long. the pond is set back about 30 feet or so from the road with a little bit of woods behind it & large parking lot on the other side of it.
