Looking for ideas....

lesa.....You know the kind of flowers (I) would plant in that area....... But you would have to dig them up in the Fall for next years crop. I know this crazy guy in Northern Michigan that raises these big flowers and bunches of sheep and bantams that can add to your bulb/tuber inventory really quick..........I...I mean (he)....can get you going and fill that garden spot..... just a thought.....and the deer don't really like them that much...a nibble or two and that's that. Rusty, I can't really say I noticed the bees on my dahlia's. Do you see a lot of bees on yours? I wouldn't mind thinking of something more practical- something we could eat, or the chickens could eat- or even something I could sell....A field of dahlia's would be pretty impressive, though!
