7/7/18 update just a quickie....
what a wonderful day 78* and muddy...

dw harvest first.... theres another 5 gallon bucket of mators ready in a few days...

a nice firm tomato very sweet, slice it and add a little salt ......yum no mayo needed
the cantaloupe..
they are ready everytime you walk by you get a whiff of ripeness

even made hammocks for the odd ones in the cucumbers, theres 4 so far growing up the cuke trellis that have them..

our 1st wet my pants and call me major..thats just sweet as the wife..yum the dw asked how to pick them .explained to her the yellewiss skin ones are the target get on your knees and if they smell sweet pick them...
theres about 5 more that i will pick before leaving in the morning... the rest asked her to slice them up and put in the dehydrator for melon chews...

dw care package for my extended stay in tennessee...
melon,refrigerator dill pickles,pineapple, river rat cheese, not shown phoenix mators and eastern peaches..

dw did start a new batch of pickles, they should be ready when i get home in 2 weeks. used both salt and pepper and marketmore cukes..
so easy to make and so tasty :drool:drool:drool:drool:drool:drool:drool:drool
