I’m debating on a tree. If I can get a good sale deal on a medium size artificial tree, I’ll get one. I’ll have granddaughters the week before Christmas so decorating a tree would be fun.

Oh I bet your granddaughters would love to decorate a tree! When my kids were little we used to make homemade bakers clay ornaments together. We would shape them, bake them, let them cool, then paint them. They last forever too. They get hard as a rock when u bake them.

It has 5 different settings, "fairy" style lights are LED's, it has a button controller to toggle through on to white to color, different settings do different things. WE decided on color that doesn't change. Toggle through to turn off.
FAR better than the prelit tree we bought some 8 years ago, which has been falling apart. It's still in the attic in a very nice tree bag, which will house THIS one in it's box after the holidays. Next trip to the 2nd floor walk in attic and the OLD one will be trashed.
DD didn't want the display, only one left in the box store on Black Friday, so she used her phone to order it. It was delivered next day and sitting on her front (cement with cement steps) porch.
They REALLY want to sell these NOW!

I tried the first time this year to use some silk flowers. They look amazing and hide the perennial plants that died down earlier and will come back a few months later.
