Misplaced Conversation?

I sent a message to a TEG member about a week ago. Yesterday I got an e-mail from Support on BYC saying my message had been sent to them in error. Are we having glitches in the system that sends our messages astray?
I haven't even been on BYC for a couple of weeks, I'm sure, let alone send a private message.
And how do I pull up a conversation to check it? I think I deleted it from my e-mail.

I am not the site pro here, but I think if you go to inbox up in the right hand corner between your name and alerts, you should be able to check your conversations.

It sounds like you may have replied to the pm / conversation email notification vs. coming here and replying in your inbox to the conversation. It actually happens quite frequently... where people think they are replying back to the post or the PM but they are replying back to the email notification from the site.
