It was actually fairly safe to use them. It was the people on the other end that suffered the harm.

There was a stream of burning liquid, not a gas.

The cat would show no mercy.

I have drowned vole villages with a slow-running hose. While I'm standing there checking the resultant puddle, a vole swims to shore, shakes water out of his ears and disappeared into the neighbor's lawn!!

I don't think he decided to return.

I know people love cats. And I even love some people who love cats... I have even met a cat I liked because it thought it was a dog, but in general, I'd rather just wage war on rodents than have a cat.
I'm not a hater, just an avoid-er.

For a nice combo of shotgun and flamethrower, you can buy "Dragon's Breath" shotgun shells. :) My personal favorite for mole mayhem.

I love dragons breath shotgun shells,(the vids anyway) never used them had them around, the guys around here could do a LOT of stupid things with it.:lol: A LOT.
