My first Moonflower this year, I did have a late start on this project!

It was open a few hours ago when I took this picture. I will go out soon and take another picture. I think it will look a bit different by then.

I was looking at your Hibiscus pictures and thought to myself "is that a Moonflower?" I was just about ready to write when I saw this post!

Too funny!

I wonder how much time you get with this plant? Will it fizzle out like the Morning Glories, or will it last a bit longer. I sure hope you get seeds for future Moon Flowers!

I like it! (I know it is a morning glory too, but ...it is a Moon Flower to me! ) :weee

Yes I think it is a Pine cone ginger! I moved so many plants from my backyard to the front I lost track of were I planted each plant.

I have an actual "moon garden" that you can see from our bedroom window ..during the full moon omg it just glistens and glows like ..well it just glows ...

and now I must have one of these flowers! :weee

we can grow them here but not to full maturity and they are an annual I guess unless you can over winter them inside in a pot I wonder?

how does it grow is it viny or bushy?

do you think it could go into a pot?
