Congatulations, Major and Mrs Major! It takes a lot of patience and determination to stay married. Much too easy to let those little things become big things.
My mom and dad were married over 65 years before he died. After that, when Mom would talk about him to anyone, she would say " We had 60 good years together, and then...……."
Like, those last 5 years were something else.
Actually, they were "something else".
