My first strawberry! 3 pics, kinda big : )

Well,

Last month I got a hanging basket and decided to put some strawberries in it. I didnt really know what I was doing as I've never raised them, so I just watered em! I've been watching this one turn red and I decided to pick it today. My mom and I split it and it was very tasty, but kinda tart! I was pretty proud though.

I'm hoping my strawberry plants will come back this year. We had a pretty bad drought and they dried up on me.

That stinks! I hope they come back for ya. We used to have tons at my grandma's, but slugs and snails ate em all up.

Oh I have been wanting some strawberries and these pic decided me I think I will try to grow some too this year I have never grown any before! Any advice on what kind I should get? Your berries look so yummy.

Penny, I have no clue what to do,lol. They might look yummy, but the 2nd one was terrible. My dad said it had no flavor at all. Good thing I just got them for fun,lol.
