My friends cabbage

She always has HUGE cabbage like that. I am constantly amazed by her garden.

It is pretty funny that they are so scared of the cabbage that they lock it in a dog kennel so it doesn't get out and eat the other vegetables!

That is one large cabbage! They quite obviously know what they are doing!

My daughter is WAY jealous! I just came over here to share the picture of my daughter's cabbage she grew and we harvested today.

Going to go post it, I'm still proud of the squirt!

LOL awww! Don't be jealous!! Yoshi has had YEARS to perfect her cabbage cultivating. When Lil Miss gets Miss Yoshis age... she very well may have giant cabbage too!!

And yes... everyone should be afraid of the cabbage!! Actually... they have2 dogs like the one in the picture. They have their entire yard fenced, and then there is hot wire around both the dog section, and the garden section... just at different heights!

I don't want to hijack this thread, but does anyone know if it would hurt to cut the largest outside leaves off the cabbage plants while they are growing? They are smothering the marigolds I put between them. Guess I could just move the marigolds, since they are not keeping away any bugs that I can tell. Maybe they are like elephant repellant.
