http://hudsonvalley.craigslist.org/grd/5155859235.html Nephew picked up last night got it for $200. Seller bragged about how much weight it could pull. Sunday craftman tractor I had let out loud bang then thick cloud of smoke. I had paid $100 for 2 years ago figured I got my money out of it. The wheel horse is also from 70s.

You should be able to remove it yourself. It is hooked in three places to the tractor. One in the middle front of the deck (that's the one we remove first) and then two spots -- one on either side of the deck to keep it even with the tractor. These two are usually held in place by (cotter) pins or such.

Of course, I've never had a wheel-horse tractor.

Looks like a work horse and priced right. Have nephew show you how to remove the deck, then you should be able to do it yourself.

Craftman looks more like a riding lawn mower this looks more butch, like a real tractor. $200 was budget for trailer, oh well never know what I end up with LOL

Great buy. Now that has a tranny, not belt driven. It will pull all the engine can provide in HP.
