Well, today was Fen’s birthday. Now he is a whole, big boy, 1 yr old. And as you can surely see, he is now a serious, distinguished gentleman.

The sheltie I had before Mabel used to do this in her younger days, grab the white tip of her tail in her teeth, and spin around in place at break-neck speed. She also would not get into the car until she had made 3 complete circles around the vehicle. Circling, it's just what you must do if you are a herding dog.

English shepherds are not the fanatical workaholics that border collies are, but like shelties, they need a job to do, and if you don't give them one, they will assign themselves daily tasks.

Absolutely! Fen has elected himself “Sock Sheriff” of the house. I’m under no circumstances allowed to wear just socks in the house. If caught, he forcibly removes them 😂
