Well, I have over 4,000 sq ft devoted to food crops to date, so I just want a little space for tranquility away from the maintenance and harvest

This one is to feed my soul, not my belly....

See, you didn't tell us that. In that case, I'm all for a nice pool and rock fall, a pergola with trailing vines and a swinging seat. Maye one of them fire place thingies, too

and to all you nay sayers about flowers..I just want to point out some of the best feasts I have ever had were with my eyes and nose ..not just with my mouth...keep planting flowers they are food and medicine for the soul ..besides the birds and butterflies adore them

Had a bit of a setback, I found powder post beetle damage in some of the old wood I used to build the fence, so off it went to the trash (sigh).

Hopefully I will get a fence up again shortly with new wood.
