New in Florida

Hello!
I moved couple of months ago from Texas, to Lakeland, Florida.
I am hoping to learn as much as I can from everybody, and have a beatiful garden like my mother had, and teach my kids to love nature.

Hi from Orlando!! Just remember most of the books are oppisite from Florida growing. Unless it's a florida book lol. I love the fall planting. And if you have kids plant lots of sugar snap peas in containers where the kids play for a quick fun snack! I put my seeds in about Sept. October. Then they produce well from January till April. If we have a freeze I drop king size pillow cases over the tops. Good luck and let me know what works for you!
