New Orchard

I've heard there's a new commercial orchard going in not far from me. I guess every white flag is where a tree will be planted. All I know for sure is they better get some fence up. The deer and rabbits are crazy thick around here. This is only part of it, it goes way back.

I hope they'll be organic. I had a guy make a tree farm across the road from me a few years back..he grew trees to sell to landscapers and nurseries. He had some gizmo over there that was motion activated and it sounded like a canon going off every time it was activated...animals get used to sounds that don't hurt them, that thing was going off all day and night..it was awful. He went out of business because he never put up a fence...
