New pullets, finally!

Yea! New chickens! I need to get some more too, but haven't taken the plunge. A few weeks ago our local farm store had some little chicks; there was one Easter egger pullet that was staring right at me, saying "Take me, take me!" Don't know why I didn't!:/
NEVER pass up a chance to buy a talking chicken!

Congrats on your new additions. It's nice to have a mix of breeds.

Someone can have all my new chickens. Just come and pick them up.

I had one broody hatch three chicks and another hatch two chicks this spring. I have been optimistically thinking I had all pullets. Far more optimistic than observant it would seem. Right now I suspect I have five new roosters. Who needs seven roosters for nine hens?

It is rather like butchering the family dog, but most of these birds will have to go.
