The only garden I have is a few things in tubs. I neglected to put hog panels around them and the sheep got to them. They pulled up onions, ate some and ate the tops of a tub of potatoes to the dirt. I thought potato leaves were poisonous? Evidently not to sheep.

Growing in pots beats nothing at all. Don’t be discouraged, you’ll get there.

Looks like there was a 4+ quake north of Chico.

Just reading a little about East Coast quakes. The story was that the Earth's crust is connected over larger areas on that side of the continent. So, even a small quake is felt farther from the center. In heavily populated areas, that means more people feel it.

As a small child, my family lived in Redding. I grew up in the Medford Oregon area.

This earthquake was on our news as being in NYC.
We've had a few tremors over here but thankfully not too strong.
