I
i've done enough driving in all sorts of stuff that i don't want to do any more of it.
can remember when we were going to visit my husband's family in Hanford and OH what a nightmare that was. The fog was so thick you probably couldn't cut through it with a chainsaw. I'm good with staying at home on the bad days unless my husband is home and then he can drive, that's why he's a trucker.

My chickens decided to go try to dig out all the potatoes in the big pallet bed but I put some sticks in the small one so they attempted to dig those up but they gave up.

I bought some raffle tickets for a snow machine one time. The nice lady told me “they would call me on Monday”; she didn't say anything about having to win so i just figured i already won? Well heck, Monday came and went and that nice lady never did call me again!

And i aint never bought a raffle ticket again either. I hope it’s not the same Lady?

speaking of times of driving when it would have been better to stay put (i have several of these stories :) )...

the most notable dumb trip was coming from up north at the university to down here where family is at one winter. we came down the usual route and then as we were driving across the road that goes along the Lake Superior (left on M-28 just south of Marquette) shoreline it was snowing so hard we couldn't see past the end of the hood so we went to turn around (to take the alternate route which goes down to the Lake Michigan shoreline in Escanaba and then we come across to the Mackinac Bridge - ps. there are webcams for that one :) ). we weren't going that fast and that was a good thing because when we almost came to a stop there was someone turning around in the middle of the road and we'd have T-boned him at 35mph. that was a long day riding.

Lisa was a good driver and very chatty the whole way, i wasn't at all nervous (and that is a compliment as i hate having other people drive).
