Well, they are good! And, it is surprising, Nelson.

However, they were a bit salty for me . . .

Maybe they just need to be processed a little differently to not be so salty.

Yeah, well if it taste a bit salty, you can probably add a little salt on it..

Last night - we had flowering bok choy & maruba santoh!

I want to tell you that I was really surprised at how those plants survived the winter! Last year, and usually, a few bok choy plants are left here & there and some of them come thru the winter. They are always scarred so as to be totally useless. Some continue on a downhill path and die during the spring. That's how badly damaged but many of the plants are dead by January, anyway.

This year, they looked pretty good! And, there were plenty of them so when they flowered -- we ate them :p! Nice & tender . . .
