I'm sorry that I do not have a pic, but I am hoping my description of this will make everyone scream: IT'S A XXXXXX!!

I was at a brunch at the Mission Inn in Riverside. They had the most delicious 'grapes' I have ever had in my life.

tiny globes
deep purple
dark stemming
largest globe that I found was the size of a Skittle
sweet, sweet, sweet!!

I've been given contrasting information from the people there that these were either a type of current and not a grape at all or that they were champagne grapes

Thank you SO ,much in advance!

Do you know if they were grown locally where you were? What location would that be? Also did they have seeds, seedless? Tough and thin skin?

seedless and much darker than the ones pictured above and I'm pretty sure the stems are much darker too...but this is all recall as I have not seen them in almost 2 years.

I've looked everywhere that grapes are sold around here and cannot find them.

I have no idea if they were local to Riverside or not.

Every once-in-a-while I can buy a big package of them at costco, but not bareroot as I would hope.

Black Corinth Grapes, aka Zante Current!! It was like total coincidences that I was in Costco and they finally had them again.

Now, my next step is locating a nursery that carries them!
