Every gardener has a personality in the garden. Some of us plan everything down to the last seed spacing… and some of us toss seeds in and hope for the best

primarily i grow what we will eat. i've given up on trying various other things because Mom will not eat them and so i only grow just a few things (turnips, radishes, dill) here or there for myself but not much and sometimes i don't even eat any of those.

on the other leg, i do enjoy my bean growing experiments and seeing what happens next.

My whole gardening is a constant experiment. I make plans, vacillate, then what I do is a "go."
For instance, I Will be doing deep digging Heugulculture in my beds, but I won't even start on that until this Fall, when I clean up after the warm weather and Fall gardening. I have SO MUCH cleanup from trees to do and pile up that I'm not ready for it. Doesn't mean that I won't be prepping beds for Spring gardening this week. If I wait to do a full prep it will be mid Summer, and I would Really like to eat some spinach in May!

Definitely the planner type. I spend way too long deciding where everything goes and tracking sowing dates, but honestly that is half the fun for me. This year I am trying to be a bit more relaxed about it though, just let things grow where they want to.
