One Alaskans greenhouse

Each year re-commissioning the Greenhouse is a looked forward to event which is happening right now.

It begins by removing all the horizontal and vertical trellis giving me access to all the interior surfaces which are hand washed with a sponge and a bucket of hot soapy water. The next day (today) i replaced the trellis’s and began prepping the beds and floor; which involves raking, watering and burning all surfaces, twice!
This time of year everything’s pretty dry down 4/5 inches so the watering part is important to achieve good saturation before planting.
The Toyo is running, set at 56F and tomorrow i’ll begin yarding those 15 10/20 trays out of the house. They will be set up on makeshift saw-horse benches until time to go out in the garden. This part’s a crap shoot every year; id like the starts that go out later to go out quicker sometimes. Typically most of them will be up-potted again before springs really here.
Those things that stay in the greenhouse will get planted into they’re beds shortly and be off and running. The goal has always been “to have a handful of green beans by Mothers day”.

How on earth do you keep the panels so pristine white in a greenhouse!? I can barely keep my wood surfaces in mine from looking like a mechanics shop.

Well, the wood is all treated lumber and seems to do pretty well at not “growing” fungus or moss. The white panels are FRP fiberglass panels, like youd build a shower out of. Comes in 4x8 sheets, is easy to work with and last forever.
I built the wood frames then lined the insides with the panels and using epoxy and fiberglass tape; sealed the seams so that no moisture gets on the wood. The bottoms are all open and graveled like the rest of the building.
When ever any area needs freshened up a good blast with the nozzle on a garden hose does a good job. Then rake the floor and it looks like i just built it.

P.s, it’s good dirt top to bottom; no filler stuff, and the picture’s a “Pano”, showing a bit of distortion.
