Organic gardening 2025

I suspect that you don't remember that post offices had both "ash units" with some sand in them for snuffing out cigarettes but ... spittoons for those who chewed. The post office and hotel lobbies seemed to be the last locations with these sorts of receptacles. Of course, smokers were very casual with their butts. I remember wondering how long it would take, with the banning of smoking from markets, before smokers would stop dropping their butts on the floor and stepping on them.

in the south there were plops and spits from chew and smokers inside the stores. it didn't matter if there were ashtrays or whatever provided...

as for up here, yes, they have bins outside the doors for butts.

I found out that the doctor said that I have bronchitis and it sucks because I need to cough but my ribs and sides are so sore from coughing that it hurts to move. I'm doing better at not smoking as much. Yesterday I smoked 7 and usually I would have smoked more than half a pack or more. This is my last pack of cigarettes and I am done.

GL :) i'll be hoping you can stick the landing this time.

I remember vaguely the cigarette butts being all over the place and now I am always picking them up in my yard because my husband has the habit of just throw it on the ground.

we used to have people emptying their car ashtrays on the side of the road at the corner and i would regularly have to pick up butts, but gladly that sort of thing has decreased in recent years.

my brother used to do that around here too and we asked him to put them in a can we kept in the garage - i think he flicks them along the road... i dunno for sure as we've not talked about it recently and i don't check his pockets or car ashtray.
