You know I bake for a living, while raising my daughter, I also do my garden which has done wonderfully this year. I can what I can when I can can! (Stupid pun) I also keep a tight ship at home, I can't stand a mess so we do a quick clean everyday. All this while working on siding and remodeling the house bit by bit. Because in 2 weeks I'm installed cabinets for my husband in the attic so he can have his work station corner to keep all his tools...

So what do I do on top of all this?! I sew! I spend most of sunday sewing, and teaching my friends how to use their machines as well! I also spend a few evenings a week sewing as well since I'm working on a huge project of a Queen Size Quilt for my mother-in-law.

Here is the Etsy store I have for my extra stuff I sew so I don't drown in the little things I make and don't need, or have no one to give them to:

So I ask you, where is my breaking point. When have I taken on too much?! I guess I'm hoping for someone to stop me while I am still being held together and not hanging by a thread.

My husband was just so sweet last night and just starting going on about all that I do, and how he'd lose his mind after 1 week of... yet I just keep going. Made me realize, I don't really know how I do it at all?!

better than crack :)

I think it is awesome to be busy!

congratulations on all you are doing :)

my husband has both his shops and his office here at home and we are DIY remodeling (and only one big room and the roof left :ya ) and have lived like this for several years six now I think ..the upside is you get to see what you do get done all around you and make things the way you want them to be instead of trying to hire contractors and being disapointed....the bad side is you also always see what needs to be done! so making time for rest becomes important and sometimes even if it means putting a tent in the yard and pretending I am camping

we get away several times a year to camp or hotel it someplace different ..sometimes we get in the car and just drive off with no direction ... just to clear our brains ..inspire and refresh

enjoy the process

That's neat. What a great idea.
If you like doing it do it!
Life is short, enjoy!
You sound like a great person going out of your way to create treasures for loved ones. :bouquet

Take time for yourself as you deserve to.
Be sure to take time to stop and smell the :rose :rose :rose :rose

Oh, I will just sit in my garden drinking coffee and doing nothing at some point every week. (Unless its like 40 degrees out, then I'm in a hot bath with some dried flower petals I collected from the summer).

I can kick back... if I REALLY need to! LOL

I'm over on Etsy.com shopping online today instead... had a few sales... trying to help other sellers... busy busy bee even when I don't wanna be!

Thanks guys. :happy_flower
