I have a red flowering passionvine my MIL gave me this spring. It is not supposed to survive our winter here, unlike the common purple passionvine which you cannot kill, no matter how hard you try! I kept it in a pot all summer, which I wish now I hadn't done because it never really reached its full potential. Next year I will probably go ahead and plant it out in a sheltered spot and try burying it in mulch or something. Too late for that now, I think...no time to set good roots. Has anyone overwintered one of these before? I have a heated basement and an unheated sunroom. I'm sure I'll kill it either way...houseplants hate me. Ha. I wasn't sure if it would go dormant or if I should keep watering it, or if I should cut it back or by how much. Thanks in advance for any tips!
