I just got done saving some peace vine cherry tomatoes and they have a slight red tinge to them. Is that normal for this variety? I have never saved this tomato before.

I have never grown this variety. You said they have a slight red tinge, what color are they?

@Todd Ziegler , I just fermented a bunch of mine for seed and they looked normal (light brown) to me, so that isn't a varietal characteristic. It might result from your cultural conditions, but isn't something I've encountered.

I have had seeds with a slight red tinge to the dried seed. Also some with a brownish, almost grey, bleached white, or beige tone. In each case the seed germinated and the plants grew true.

Not a scientific observation as I never noted which tomato varieties had which coloring on the seed, nor did I check the following year to see if the coloration continued.
