Peppers, worst year on record for me

I've picked easily a bushel worth of green peppers, and more coming out too. Same with my jalapenos they are doing great and given me a ton of peppers. Sweet red peppers? Blight blight blight and the weird thing is they are right next to the greens which are going like gang busters. I just can't figure that one out. Going to try a different variety next year see what happens then.

I am envious Jared, especially with no jalepeno's for salsa. Now it's cold and the best window is gone.

I think you nailed it. If they are growing in the same conditios it's probably the variety. One thing I like about saving my own seed is that you end up with a variety that is resistant to your local diseases and pests.

I figured it had to be the variety being so close. I did that to try to try to give them the best situation to thrive in and everything but the reds took advantage of where they were planted. Ill have to check my notes this winter before I order seeds again to try something different. And yes Ill be saving green pepper seeds for sure. I couldn't have been happier with them.
