That's it! Now you've done it! I'm going out to plant a flower. But I'm NOT going to paint the coop. That's all there is to it!

Smiles, you are too funny. Believe it or not, that coop has been painted twice in 2 years. Before that it was fushia and teal. I promised my husband that was the last time I would paint it. When we first built it, I noticed that the wire was too visible with the light reflecting off it. There was alot of grumbling from my husband because I wanted to spray it black so that I could see my chickens better. I won the battle but it sure was alot of work. To me it was worth it.

By this time, things must be getting quite lush there in your corner of the neighborhood. Lush might be the right word. With the preschoolers probably exuberant would soon change to out-of-hand . . !
