@Dahlia that’s a beauty . A purple color is unusual. Beautiful pic. 
It’s mushroom season in the PNW they are popping up all over the place. When conditions are good the shroom explosion takes over the entire garden and pastures.
A few different types around here . Did you know that squirrels can eat toxic mushrooms. They hang them in tree to dry for winter storage. Little stinkers. They also dig up all my bulbs and tubers.
