Well, it wasn't the sweetest melon I've ever had (you really need more heat than I get for that). But It was better than the last time I did watermelons and got fruit. Those were almost tasteless (I have since learned that contrary to some of their names, white fleshed watermelons often have a problem with low brixes.)
