Another good one for today:

There has been good to be found, even among the bad and the hard parts of this. Things are settling down now and I think we'll be able to sort a lot of this out after he gets home. It has been amazing to see my family pulling together to get through this.

It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.

Amen to that! You don't see kids playing outside anymore. Can't remember the last time I saw that except in my own yard. Folks would drive by, slow down and stare to see what was going on...that's how rare a sight it all was and still is to see youngsters outside at play.
