Sorry, sumi. I was expecting it to finish: "than mentioning them in your will." Threw me with prayers even though I do agree.

@Carol Dee, was expecting to read that yours was a cardinal rule not from the cardinal cottage.

I guess I'm reading too much too quickly ... or I need to get out into the real world more.

Reminds me of a story, Carol Dee.

A country pastor asked the janitor to say a few words at Sunday service one day.
"Lord, I hate buttermilk", he shouted.
The pastor was beginning to regret his request when the janitor said even more loudly....
"Lord, I don't like lard at all either."

The pastor, puzzled, was about to interrupt when the janitor exclaimed, "Lord, I don't much care for the taste of white flour. But when my wife mixes them all together in the right amounts and adds the right heat for the right time, Lord, I surely do love buttermilk bisquits."

"It's like that with the Lord. When it seems that bad things happen, it just might be the Lord mixing things up for something even better than buttermilk bisquits."
