The communication of the insects is an intriguing subject.
Why, just this morning, I was up before sunrise and noticed that there was a "House Fly" on the kitchen window. In the low light situation, I couldn't see whether it was inside or outside so I stepped into the utility room and picked up a flashlight. Shining it on the Fly, I could see that it was outside - no need for me to do anything further.
Later, I put in my hearing aids and noticed that they had recorded a message from Mr. Fly. (Oh, the wonders of modern technology!) Yes, the House Fly had a message for me: "Turn off that damn light you idiot and be quick about it!"
Multiple eyes ... ya know.
