I think one of the seed catalogs I got offers a special radish seed to grow for the seed pods. Baker Creek, Maybe? They say they are yummy.

Just let any of them go and find out how you like the pods!

I don't know if I've got a special one or not. There has only been 1 variety for which, I've saved seed. When the pods showed up, I tried them. Pay attention to tenderness - but that is easy. Radish plants have pods in various stages of development. If one is tough, choose another that is less mature. You'll get the hang of it!

And, be ready with the soap spray to protect your pod crop! Aphids love radish bolting to seed.
