Woke this morning super early to the sound of rain on the roof
couldn't sleep
even waxed poetic
There are regulations against poetic Neanderthals
but i received dispensation for it

Finally hit the straw
...supposed to get that right...
one would not sleep on hay

Woke again to the plop plap sounds of snow
more decent hour this time
such a special nice sound

Peeper snuggled close under the covers
Clevland on my legs over the covers
Abyssinian's denser fur keeping him warmer
All so nice and cozy

Then I realized...

The pipes!
they'll freeze and break unless I turn them off and drain them

See? there's a good reason ole neanderthals aren't supposed to wax poetic!
about the time we see the multifaceted and manifold beauty of a thing...

it's time to layer up and hike to all the spigots,
put the heet stuff in the tractor gas
and realize every hole in the shoes let the socks get wet

Lentil soup helps!
See Daniel, oh somewhere in there

See? You modern humans are handy to have around!

I could ask how do you do that until the sky turns blue
and not get past step two!

That's really cool!

Love that!
Reminds me of a day in art class when the teacher said for us to put our names on a sheet of paper and set aside for later. Later she asked us to turn it in .. just the sheet with our names. Almost all of us had just written our names as usual - most of us in the upper left - but Annelisa had made a big scroll-work-ish bird our of her name.
The point was to be ALWAYS looking for opportunities to experiment and to be creative. Guess who got an A...

See!!?

If you have some text where you are thinking, "What did that person say?" Wordle might be of some practical help. I am not really sure about that but can pretend. Like the college professor who hands out his or her lecture notes. It might be a possible to pick up all the salient points just by seeing how many times each word was used - they will appear larger in the "word cloud."

The "wordle guy" says it is "a toy" and leaves it at that. I think it might make some attractive greeting cards .
