Here are a few random photos of the garden this year and some of my produce I've gotten so far.

This is the first time I have gotten any type of lettuce to grow in my garden. I am very happy about it!

This garden has 111 tomato plants and 87 pepper plants. On the far end there are also melons and dill.

WOW! Good looking lettuces, fine young potatoes and (DH's favorite) French Breakfast radishes are looking good as well. Your nightshade garden is one of the best looking I've seen this year. It looks like a good year for tomatoes and peppers if that shot is any indication. Wow!

Nice garden! I wish I could leave mine unfenced. That would make things so much easier! Are you going to do the FL weave again this year?

very nice looking garden :thumbsup wish i could also not fence in my gardens but alas the only ones eating out of it would be the deer and rabbits.
nothing like having homegrown lettuce ...

WOW :eek:and I thought 24 tomato plants where too many! What do you do with all of them?

We use LOTS of blood meal (since we are so nitrogen deficient) and also feed the deer small amounts of deer feed from the feed mill to keep them out. We put the feed on the opposite side of the creek from our garden so they will typically stay on that side. They have only ever eaten my sunflowers once. I have more troubles with the pheasants coming in and pecking holes in the maters

Lots and lots of canning! Tomato juice, sauce, chili base, salsas, whole, whole seasoned with chilis, crushed, soups, the list goes on...
With being in sugar sand soil I typically don't get a lot of fruit off of my plants- even with fertilizers.
