Oh, Bay, I wish we lived closer. I suspect we would quickly become the best of friends.

I love the second one! Short, succinct, and to the point. Much better than the wordy signs I had in mind. Just need to change the me's to we's and us's to get us both in there.
 
love them @baymule. and @SmartRed i agree with Nyboy that an ad in the paper will be seen by lots more towns people. than may be the way to go. will be waiting to hear updates. here's my berma shave ad.

We're in between 6 small communities and two larger towns. An ad in the paper wouldn't be seen by many unless it came in the weekly "Shopping Guide" and there are several of those delivered here in the sticks. My BFF a mile away gets a different one than I do.

Besides, for 16 years I thought we were getting along. I didn't bother them, but did offer help a couple of times, and we overlooked their first infractions in different areas out of what I considered "neighborliness". I suggest I'd be able to get along in the future, but no way they would. I give them smiles (not sneers) and they shoot daggers in return. According to their attorney, they plan on selling sometime after the court dispute is settled.

No need to name the neighbors, no need to call them names in the signs. Just a way to share the information with people we both would know. It started as an innocent mistake, but instead of coming to speak to us, they spent their time spreading rumors about what they believed to be true.
 
oh well, just a thought. i know you'll be so glad when this is all over. hopefully they will sell on Jan 1st and youall can start your new year without having to give them another thought
 
I doubt they will sell that quickly and I highly doubt the case will be settled until late winter/early 2015. I expect they will continue the daggers, but we'll have no further problems with them until they do sell.
 
That's good news that they will be selling. It may take a while but in the end they will no longer be around. I hope you get new fantastic neighbors. You deserve them.

We have our second court date -- for scheduling a final court date -- this month. I'm not sure just when (about the 13th?) as the info goes to our attorney now. We'll know as we plan to be there.
 
I know you will be glad to get this behind you so you can use your time and energy on things that matter. :hugs
