Reminiscing of summer time

I grew up in a house where it was 50 in the winter months, and 80 some degrees or whatever it was outside in the summer. I remember one Christmas morning when I was pretty young that I could see my breath when I woke up to see what santa brought me. I was traumatized when I saw the thin layer of ice on the cat's water dish. So now that I have control over how warm my house is, I like to keep it pretty warm

Our furnace and fireplace can't keep up- our house is 60 degrees right now

Wow our house is normally around 65 degrees all winter long. Initially we couldn't afford to keep it higher now we're just used to it and appreciate the savings.
