That's what I like to see. Try to find a use for something before you toss it. We all throw away too much in this country.

i was just trying to explain to my fiancee how to build me cages. this will be so mush easier. ill just show him your pics. thanks for the great idea! :D

I will tell you what my (now passed on) MIL used to do. She had sombody cut 4 foot lengths of 4 foot high cattle fencing, connected to look like open pipes. She would hammer in 4 foot high metal fence posts and attach the fencing "pipe" to each post. The indeterminate type tomatoes had P L E N T Y of room to grow up, there were lots of places to tie them, but she never needed to--I think she trained her plants to lean on and support themselves on the wire. AND, it was uber easy to harvest fruit. If I can get more of the property under control, I might do the same in the future.
