Jung's has arrived. DW spent quite a bit of time looking through it and says that she is willing to go back to having gladiolas in the yard. Sheesh, one of my favorite flowers and she gave all of our bulbs to one of her friends several years ago!

TomatoFest is having their yearly sale of heirloom varieties. I always think about posting about that but don't. I have grown a number of varieties from TomatoFest and enjoyed them. Anyway, I am posting this idea about taking advantage of the sale during the last few days of the annual event. Maybe some of you have time to look through a good source and the 100's of varieties that they offer. Prices don't represent a huge savings but if you are thinking about 10 varieties or so, the savings can add up.

Hours were taken for orders to 3 seed companies Friday and Saturday.

It wouldn't have been quite so time consuming but we were helping a friend. She has a big garden and her sister and grandchildren show up during the Summers to help and benefit from it. Unfortunately, I wasn't around when she and DW schemed up ideas of what she wants. But, I'm the one who has to figure out what is scribbled on the yellow legal pads of what she is hoping for. She is a very generous person and I have been doing this for years with only genuine gratitude from her. It seems to be an important part of her family relationships and visits each year.

There was no problem reaching the free shipping goal in the Johnny's order. My relationship with that company has been a good one for a very long time.
