Reasonable prices for small packets, broad choices ... even a small garden could be fun and full of a great diversity of plants. I have ordered from them, mostly when I didn't have so many square feet to fill.

On that other thread, I mentioned Victory Seed and their past temptations of old-fashion candies. There are many more reasons to be tempted by Victory. But, Pinetree has books and tea !

Used to like Territorial, and still grow several varieties originally obtained from them... but their shipping is a bit high. Used to like Johnny's too, and still recommend them for some things (such as cover crops and row covers) but IMO, they are not the same since the founder sold the company.

A good direction for this thread might be to focus on some of the great regional seed companies.
Thats a good idea.
