Would anybody be interested in doing a seed train? On BYC they are doing one, but it moves awfully fast! Basically, you offer some seeds you have on hand. If anybody wants to accept, they reply to accept and in the same post offer seeds of their own. Full rules and details here:

I'll start by offering Detroit Dark Red beets, or Perfected Detroit beets, or Bodacious sweet corn (hybrid), approximately 50 seeds each.

I think I got your corn over at BYC but I'm game to get in one here too.

Sounds good. Just PM me your address so I can be sure you're the one (the mail didn't go out yet). What do you have to offer to continue the train?

I think this is a good idea... but what about a trade like someone posts they are in... and weather veggie or flower they prefer.

And then after a couple weeks of signing up it would be a blind random trade. Someone collects all the people wanting to do it and the send them an address kinda thing? Like secret Santa!?

Maybe a lot of work though :/

I just liked the simplicity of it. I offer something. You take it. You offer something else. Somebody else takes it. And so on...

If anyone is interested in doing this I will start us off with an offer of:
10 loofa seeds.
These are the gourds that you can eat when they are young or allow them to mature and then use them as bath loofas. I will include the growing instructions I got and how to clean them for bath use.
