Should I just buy these instead?

I want some daikon radish to grow next year. But instead of just a few seeds in a small packet, would I be better off ordering this?

I can easily trade off or sell any extra.

If they are for sprouting, they will be fine for growing, right?

You could trade them all year,plant a mess of them , and you will still have some left! Maybe even share some.

I gave up growning diakon if you can do it and it tastes good then I say go for it ..at pennies a pound here I can get all kinds and grew the most nasty tasting radishes on the planet ..

but I say go for it you have different soil and climate if you can do it ..awesome keep us posted please

Daikon in Colorado is EXPENSIVE if you can even find it. Radishes do not grow well in the ground here. The soil is hard. BUT, I have a semi-hydroponic system (watered by my pond) and a very large deep planter. I have filled that planter with composted duck bedding and have some flowering kale in it right now. Come Spring I am thinking I could grow some daikon in it. My test plants in the system this year did very well, so with all that loose deep soil I think they would do well. Plus if it doesn't work, I could sprout to my heart's content!

I still have a lot of those plants now growing in my kitchen. I am getting new growth on my basil, my stevia and I also have 2 varieties of hot peppers with new flowers. I have a wick system with these since I forget to water things They are in my one South facing window and I have 2 CFL's on them during the day too. It will be interesting to see how long I can keep them going.

I went ahead and ordered them. So if anyone wants daikon radish seeds OR cress seeds*, I am up for trading for other veggie seeds once those come in
