My husband wanted goats. We got one that loved to get loose, especially when I was home alone with little kids. He was sure we should breed it. He was going to get up and milk it early before work....at least once that is. I am glad I won that debate.

Haha! They all love to get loose, it's a career path with them. And pruning your landscaping is one of their speshyalitees!
But I do still love my goaties.

My sheep never escape!

I had raised hundreds of sheep and a handfull of goats. Goats are in my never again to raise / keep catagory. Unless the goat is in my BBQ pit.

I can understand a single goat being lonely and looking for friends. Do they still try and escape when living with others ?

My goat was to keep the horse company. When ever my neighbor's Mother was babysitting her grandkids my goat would get loose and knock on the back door.
